Dartmouths Secret - Sugary Cove Beach

Sugary Cove Beach

A secluded and tranquil shoreline composed of pebbles and boulders, bordered by cliffs, stones, and a backdrop of trees. This hidden gem might go unnoticed initially, as the trees conceal it until visitors are practically upon it, and there are no indicators to guide the way.

Remember these important points:

  • The path can be challenging, so wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for some uneven terrain.

  • The descent can be steep, so if you have mobility concerns, it's a good idea to assess whether the walk is suitable for you.

  • Make sure to check the tide times before you visit, as the beach is only suitable for swimming 2 hours either side of high tide
